Rescue Lines – Spring 2016 – Foundation Awards Grants and Scholarships

The Virginia Beach Rescue Squad Foundation recently awarded grants totaling $133,302 and scholarships to 10 individuals.

Here are the 2016 grant recipients:

• Chesapeake Beach VRS – $41,900 • Davis Corner VRS – $13,523

• Kempsville VRS – $22,346

• Plaza VRS – $15,359

• Council of Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squads, Inc. (Rescue Council) – $8,500

• Sandbridge Rescue & Fire, Inc. – $14,274

• Virginia Beach EMS Marine Medic Team – $10,400 • Virginia Beach Volunteer Water Rescue Team, Inc. (Marine Rescue) – $3,500

• Virginia Beach EMS Volunteer Search and Rescue

• Bike Team (Bike & SAR Team) – $3,500
